Grandfather Mountain North Carolina

We woke up last Sunday looking for an adventure and to explore something new. We were in need of some fresh air, so we decided to go to a new state/national park. We Googled parks near us and Grandfather Mountain came up about 2 hours away. We looked at each other and said, ok, let’s go explore. We made breakfast, packed water, lunch and some wine – off we went.
